Sai Bhavya's grandmother, Arunamma, is giving her cake on Bhavya's 13th birthday at the end of March. Sai Bhavya's mother took her own life when she was 2 months old, the father dying a few years later with cancer. Arunamma has kept Bhavya since she was a baby, but had a stroke about one year ago and is weaker than she was before. She is wanting to put her granddaughter in a hostel somewhere, thinking she would get better care. A "hostel" is a place where many people in India send their children (primarily during the school year), and the hostel, whether govt or privately owned, will care for the child's food, medications and other basic needs, and put them in a nearby school. Because most hostels are often not a good environment for the children, we are encouraging Sister Arunamma to keep Sai Bhavya with her or with us. We have a Godly woman (maybe 35-40) who has given her life for children's ministry, and would like to keep these kind of needy children with her. But it will involve finding a small rental home and providing the expenses for Bhavya. There's one other 11 year old girl in a similar situation. Please pray about the care of these children, and for the Lord's blessing upon Sai Bhavya.
