Vijay Babu (Vijay meaning victory, and Babu meaning boy or perhaps son) is with his grandmother on his 9th birthday in July. His father left the family when he was a baby, and then the mother committed suicide. He and his 10 year old sister, Prem Kumari, have been with their grandparents since that time. The great grandparents are also in the home, as well as an aunt who is mentally impaired. Prem Kumari is deaf, and we have asked you to pray for her at different times. A very needy family, but the grandfather works hard, guarding fish and shrimp ponds for a living. There are other relatives in their small village, and they watch over one another as much as they can. Please pray for little Vijay Babu.
