The girls below, Havilah (left, 13) and Bhavya (12), are 2 girls in need who stayed with our Sister Mary at the beginning of the 2024-25 academic year. Havilah's mother was struggling to care for her 2 daughters and work at the same time. Bhavya's parents died when she was a baby, and has stayed with her grandmother, who also was struggling financially. Both girls were happy to come be with Mary, and be part of the ministry the Lord has us doing with many children. But many problems began to take place, Mary losing her home where she was staying because the owners sold it. So then she, Havilah and Bhavya ended up in a rent home farther away from most of the believers they know. Then Sister Mary came down with tuberculosis and wasn't able to care for the girls, eventually going to another village with her own parents. In the midst of many disturbances in the girls' lives, we moved them into the home of another believer. Long story short, the girls allowed some bad influences in their lives, and are not wanting to stay with Mary now, who has recovered and is back near the church we are closely connected with. Please pray for Havilah and Bhavya. We are planning to bring some other girls to stay with Sister Mary, who is a great person with a deep love for the children, but susceptible to health problems now and then. This time they will be staying right next to their church (where some of our RHM workers attend). Please pray for the Lord's favor and success as we pray and plan for more girls who are in need to stay with Mary.
