Annamma, one of our widows. Her name is Anna, but in the Telugu language "amma" is usually added to the name of elderly women for respect. As we have shared many times (and like to remind you), most of our widows are supported with World Challenge funds, a Christian organization in Colorado Springs. We are so thankful to the Lord for that connection: WC provides the funds, RHM implements the benefits to the widows. If you donate for "widows and elderly" through our website or by check, that donation is used for the other widows and elderly (and a few handicapped) we are involved with.
Annamma recently had her hut removed by the government because they are widening the road by her place. Now she is staying outside her son's home. We're planning to provide her another room to stay in soon. "A Father of the fatherless and a Defender of widows, is GOD in His holy habitation." Psalms 68:5
