Below is a Sunday School class being conducted by Brother Bhaskara Rao. This brother helps us with children's Sunday School classes in about 6 villages. Different scenarios exist in these villages, but in most of them there are hindrances to being able to impact the children in a deeper way. In Hindu communities (like the one below), there is a resistance to the Christian faith, so for the most part only children from Christian families will be able to attend. In other villages, there is not much resistance to Christianity, but the tribal mentality of the people makes it difficult to reach the children. The adults are periodically taking their families to other areas searching for work, so the children have no consistency in spiritual things or in education. But in spite of the challenges we press on, trusting in His love, and the promise of 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always
abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the
Lord."
