Gathering the Lambs

"He will feed His flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young." Isaiah 40:11

Brother Raju is sharing with some children and adults in a village. Much of the children's ministry is here: with the families, sharing with whoever is willing to come, and trusting in His loving Arms to guide them.

Boys on Tour

Below are a couple of photos when we visited Hyderabad recently with a group of boys. Most of the younger boys had never been on such a trip before. The first photo is with Abhishek (9) on the upper level of Charminar. His father died when he was little; his grandfather died in 2022. His mother and grandmother are living together, both widows and trying to manage the family. Abhishek has another older brother.

Charminar is an old monument built by a Muslim ruler more than 400 years ago. It has become a major tourist spot in Hyderabad, and a marketplace for tourist activity. There are literally hundreds of shops in the surrounding area. 

The 2nd photo is our group of boys, along with Brother Raju, Marthababu and a couple of college boys who also came with us. It was an edifying trip, bonding with the boys and having some good devotion times together.

JESUS IS LORD

When we took some boys to Hyderabad recently, one of the places we visited while there was the Hyderabad Baptist Church. It was a beautiful church with these precious Words, "JESUS IS LORD". Pray with us that this will become reality within the lives of all the precious boys we are involved with.

Needing Wisdom for the Next School Year

Below is part of the 3rd grade in a school where we assisted 20 children with education fees and materials during the 2022-23 academic year. We helped one boy and one girl in this photo, another boy on the other side of the classroom. Altogether, the Lord used your donations to help 51 children, from nursery to higher studies in college, with some education expenses. Most of the children are on summer holidays at this time, only a few college students having classes. Pray that the Lord will grant us His wisdom in regard to the 2023-24 academic year: how many children He wants us to assist; what is the maximum amounts we can assist, etc. Thank you for praying!

Happy 16th Birthday!

Kethan (left) turned 16 on the 20th of this month. This is his sister, Shiny (17), giving him a gift on that day. The gift is a file organizer which Kethan can use for any documents or certificates he has received. He's very bright in studies, getting almost 95% on his final exams in the 10th grade (recently completed). Pray for Kethan, who desires to be a missionary.

Teaching Little Ones about JESUS

Sister Sharon (sitting) is teaching the smaller children (the majority below the 5th grade, only a few older than that) during a recent outdoor children's meeting. We are thankful for the many adults, some young adults, who are involved in the children's ministry. Praise the Lord! Please pray for the children's ministry, and support it as the Lord leads you.

This is our group who went on an excursion last week to Hyderabad for a couple of days. In the photo are brothers Raju and Marthababu (who lead the children's ministry), a couple of young men (one finishing college, the other in his freshman year at college), and 10 boys (ages 9-14). It was a good time of site-seeing and spending time with the Lord.

Valuable Time with Boys

We had the blessing this last week to take a group of boys to the big city of Hyderabad. We saw some sites, visited some churches and ministries, and a Bible College. Below is a pastor named Zachariah who is praying for all of us shortly after we arrived. He let us stay in his own church facility, and he also went from place to place with us while we were in Hyberabad. Praise the Lord!
