We had a wonderful time last week with 15 girls and 7 adults altogether on a trip to Chennai, the largest city within the 4 southern most states of India (internet stats vary, but we can safely assume that the main city of Chennai has more than 7 million people). Brother Jebaraj, man in the front with the cap, helped us on this tour, as most people in Chennai speak the Tamil language, different than the Telugu language that our children and adults speak. It was a great time of fellowship and bonding, and a time to share JESUS and His life with the children. Please pray for the children's ministry. We have about 40 children whom we try to visit at least once a week (they and their families). Many times we are not able to meet that goal because of other ministry obligations, but we try. Then there's another 20-40 children whom we are also involved with somewhat regularly, many of them neighbors or relatives of the children we're involved with, or they come to our various meetings. As funds allow we help the children with education, food, medications or anything else they might need.
