We have one girl, Veni (14), whom we started assisting recently. Her family comes from a Hindu background, but are now seeking the Lord. Especially we can see a big change in Veni, as previously she didn't have spiritual understanding or desire for the Lord. Now she's coming to the prayers, and is teaching her parents what she knows. Continue to pray for her family's salvation.
Yesterday there was a rain storm with high winds in their town, 2 electric poles in their neighborhood breaking and falling down. As you can see, one of the poles fell on top of this house, which is Veni's house. The smaller room on the left is a bathroom, and thankfully there doesn't seem to be any damage to that. The pole put a hole in the asbestos sheets on top of the house (the hole maybe about 8-10" in diameter), and rain is coming inside. Already they had leaks in the house, but now more. We would like to help them replace some of their asbestos sheets on their roof (guessing $400 or less). Pray about helping us with this as the Lord leads you. Any amount is helpful; if a larger amount is given, definitely it can be used to make some other improvements on their home, such as a front gate on their small property.
