"Arise, cry aloud in the night at the beginning of the night watches; Pour out your heart like water before the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to Him for the life of your little ones who are faint because of hunger at the head of every street.” Lamentations 2:19
This children's ministry is not merely a Sunday School ministry, enjoying ourselves with the children. Especially as we see the influences of the world greatly increasing upon the hearts and minds of the children, we cannot be passive in our prayers or counsel for their souls. Satan is not passive! And we also should be very passionate about fighting for them. As this Scripture in Lamentations says, we need to lift up our hands to the Lord, the only One Who can rescue them from themselves, and from evil forces constantly trying to lure them into sin.
Below are some of our precious children after a meeting one recent Sunday. Never mind the "AC DC" shirt; the child doesn't have a clue who that is, and neither does probably anyone else in this area.
