Brother Raju and his wife Pavani are with Leah (right) and her sister Deepa in their nursing college/hostel. We knew these girls when they lived in their native state of Orissa, and are thankful that now they are near to us so that we can visit them periodically. Their Daddy is one of 7 Christian men falsely accused of killing a Hindu priest in 2008. For political and spiritual reasons, even though Marxist communists immediately claimed responsibility for the priest's murder, the Christian men became the "fall guys" and were in prison for 11 years. By our Father's mercy, their Daddy and the other men were released in 2019. Praise the Lord! RHM (the Lord working through your donations) is helping these girls with most of their fees. Another ministry committed to help Leah, but we're not expecting them to keep their commitment. When the girls complete their studies, they will likely get jobs, work and pay off whatever fee balance is remaining. Pray these girls will remain strong in their commitment to Christ.
