We shared this photo with you on June 26th to honor Swarupa (next to her father) on her 20th birthday in early June. Yesterday, Sunday the 6th, the father, Vikram, was on a motorcycle with his wife and daughter Mahima (next to her mother in the photo). They were hit by an auto rickshaw, and the bike went down. Vikram had injuries on his head and hands, while Mahima hurt her knee. Thankfully, the mother wasn't hurt. We thank the Lord that the father seems to be okay, and didn't die. I've known this family for years, and the parents seem to be faithful believers. Vikram seems to be a very good father, having much love for his family. What a tragedy it would be if he was taken from them, but the Lord spared his life, and spared his family from that great loss. Praise the Lord! So many motorcycle accidents happen in India, but most all the people we work with are too poor to own a car, so if they have anything for transportation, it's usually a bicycle or motorcycle.
Please pray for Vikram and Mahima's total healing, and for their family.
