"Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; free them from the hand of the wicked." Psalms 82:3-4
We feel that this is very much part of His calling upon our lives and this ministry in India: to defend and stand in the gap for the needy and poor in this world. Obviously, we can only do a small part, but what the Lord places within our hands, we will do. If the Lord's people are not willing to help them, who will? I (Dan) personally don't like talking with others about giving donations, but am constantly reminded by the Holy Spirit that it for the benefit of the poor elderly and children that we make the appeals. May the Lord touch many hearts to have compassion upon the poor whom He has us working with.
