On one of our recent excursions with 11 children and 5 adults, we had to cross part of the Krishna River to reach an island. We were required to wear life jackets, but no one told us we needed to put the bottom strap around us and lock it into place! Can you imagine if the boat had actually sunk?? Anyway, we had a great time with the children, spending the whole day from early morning until late night with them.
Followup on a couple of prayer requests:
1. The little girl Asiya, who was having demonic manifestations (screaming, hearing voices, seeing a man calling her, etc.) is doing much better at this time. Pray that her mother will continue to come to the prayers faithfully and surrender her life to Christ.
2. Dhanay, the widow who is suffering perhaps with dementia, has been doing better, but today again is not eating, not listening to others, and has been determined to leave the church where she is staying with other sisters in the Lord. Keep her in your prayers. She does better when her sons spend time with her, but neither one of them (both unbelievers) are willing to give much of their time for her.
