Hannah (left, 16) and Jyothi (15) both had their birthday on January 2nd. Hannah and Jyothi are from 2 families in a city we call Peta. We try to visit these families at least once or twice a month, and are seeing good fruit in their lives. Hannah, her older sister and her twin siblings, Samuel and Esther, come from a pitiful background. Their father tried to kill all of his family with "black magic" when he abandoned them years ago. By GOD's grace, none of them died, but all of them had problems with insanity, sometimes living on the streets. The children at times would beat their mother, not really knowing what they were doing. Hannah had a problem with cutting herself and wanting to die. The Lord led a pastor into their lives several years ago, and he began to minister to them. Over a period of months all the family found deliverance, and now they are in the prayers and serving the Lord.
Jyothi has an older sister who has seizures and is not mentally sound, but is most always happy. Jyothi's parents come from a background of prostitution and homosexuality, but our amazing Lord JESUS brought deliverance and mercy into their lives as well. Hallelujah!
Hannah would be in the 10th grade, but lost interest in studying, staying home most of the time with her mother. She has learned to do tailoring, and is sewing most of her and her sister's clothes. Jyothi, Samuel and Esther are all in school. Please pray for Hannah and Jyothi.
