Brother Marthababu is praying for the children in a village we call KB Palem. He and his wife, Pavani, go there to conduct literacy classes for the children in this village, most of them not attending school. They have a school nearby, but the parents, because of their "tribal" lifestyle, don't put any priority on education. This is the most difficult, and sometimes frustrating part of the ministry in India: a culture that simply survives from day to day, and doesn't want anyone to try and interfere with their culture or introduce any changes. And the adults are generally disinterested in any type of religion is it requires any change in their lives. But we go and plant seeds, hoping in the mercy of the Lord to touch some of the hearts of these people, old and young alike. Keep us in prayer as we reach out to these very needy people.
