Below is Samadhanam (the Telugu word for "peace"), she and her husband, Moses, living in a hut in a small tribal village. They have children, but all are poor, fishing and doing whatever work they can find to survive. A few years ago Samadhanam had a stroke, and since that time RHM (the Lord working through your donations) has been helping her with medication for paralysis, high blood pressure and diabetes.
Pray for our widows & elderly ministry. As we have shared with you in previous months, our main sponsor for the elderly ministry, World Challenge, has given us funds for 2023, but will no longer be sponsoring them beyond that. These funds will likely be gone by early September. We have a total of 156 elderly or handicapped people, 116 of them widows and widowers. Without the continued sponsorship of WC, we will need to drastically reduce our ministry to the elderly unless the Lord provides through another means. Trusting in the Lord for wisdom and direction; many are dependent upon our help (the Lord through us) to provide for some of their medications, monthly financial assistance and house repairs. He is faithful!
