Nandini turned 12 on May 24th. Don't let the fancy dress and jewelry fool you; all of it probably costs less than $20, colorful dresses and fake jewelry in great abundance in India. RHM is not supporting this child, as both her parents are healthy and working in the fields (agriculture). But they live in a make-shift house, the children studying in government schools (what Americans might call public schools). We will likely help her if she has any big needs arise in her life, such as a health problem. We assisted her family once before when Nandini's older brother was in a bicycle accident and needed an operation. Nandini seems to have a tender heart for the Lord, so far doing the best among over 25-30 children in our Scripture competitions. Pray for Nandini.
