Most of the children we minister to are on summer holidays, although a few are still having college these days. May and early June is typically the hottest time of the year in this part of India on the southeast coast, the temperatures usually above 95-100, sometimes above 110. We use the holidays as an opportunity to gather the children in different places or take them on some excursions. In the photo below Brother Raju and Sister Mary (3rd from left) took 12 girls to the city of Chilakaluripeta (Peta for short) where Jyothi lives. Jyothi is the 4th from the left, her parents on each side of the photo. The father has some health problems and can't work, and the mother is limited on how much she can work, needing to take care of her husband and Pavani (20), the girl sitting with the short hair who has some mental impairment. Jyothi is doing well; your donations are helping her with her education, and helping her family with food each month. Please pray for Jyothi's family and these house gatherings (fellowship, singing, praying, sharing the Word, and having meals together).
