A Young Widow's Testimony

The photo is Bro. Marthababu praying with Chanti (her hands raised in the middle of the group) and her son when they were staying at her mother's home after having a hysterectomy. Here is a recent testimony of Chanti:
Note: World Challenge was a big sponsor for our widows ministry from 2018 through 2023. They will no longer be sponsoring us after this year. Pray the Lord will raise up new donors. Also, the "tumor" that Chanti mentions were actually growths or tumors on her uterus, which the doctors removed in February of this year. She still has physical issues from time to time (she had kidney stones in July), but she's stronger in the Lord, and is an encouragement to us also.

Pray for This Godly Shepherd

You might be thinking a "Godly Shepherd" as in a pastor, but the brother on the left, Yesepu (Joseph in English) is a real shepherd, having his own flock that he cares for. Your donations are helping his 2 children, Navya (11) and Pradeep (14) with their education. The mother works in a school (similar to pre-K), helping with the children, cleaning, etc. Yesepu is in the hospital, having had a high fever for many days, and some kind of infection. He's a precious man, having a deep desire to be closer to the Lord. Please pray for him.

Two Birthday Girls!

Kumari is giving cake to Arpana, who turned 13 on October 10th. Her cousin to the left is Prem Kumari, who turned 10 on the 14th of October. We combined their birthdays. Arpana is sister-in-law to Kumari (Kumari is married to Arpana's brother). Through your donations we helped Kumari and Yesubabu with their wedding expenses, and then to build an extra room onto Yesubabu's parents' home for them to live in. Currently we are not helping this family, as some in the family are healthy and working. Prem Kumari is deaf, and we help her and her little brother whenever their family is in need (they have no parents, staying with grandparents). Pray for these precious girls.

Hungering and Thirsting

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied." Matthew 5:6
Many who come to these weekly meetings have that hunger in their heart, a hunger for more of GOD in their life. No one is forcing them to come, except possibly some of the children who come with their parents or grandparents. Most of the children, and all of the adults are there because they choose to be there, they want to be there. These meetings are conducted every Sunday, so even though most all of them have already gone to their own churches in the morning, after only an hour or 2 after their lunch they are again making the trip to these meetings (well more than half of them coming from other towns and villages). May the Lord satisfy their hunger and thirst!
